Provides food benefits to low-income households, the Division of Public Assistance issues Food Stamp benefits via the Alaska Quest card.
The amount a household receives each month depends on the household's income and size of the household.
Eligible households use the Food Stamp benefits to buy food products from authorized stores statewide.
Eligible applicants must pass income and assets tests. The gross monthly income test is based on 130% of the current Alaska poverty standard.
This offices provide full-service statewide.
Interviews are conducted on a walk-in basis or by telephone during the following times: Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Apply for EBT Card
Most states allow online applications for EBT Cards through the application for Food Stamps (SNAP Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or cash benefits through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). We provided this local office contact for those who want to apply for their EBT in person at this office. After applying for your benefits you will most likely need to come in for an interview at this or another local social service office.
